October is all about socks, and this kit makes it really fruity! The Complete Kit includes all seven Fruity Socks designs in one go: the printed pattern booklet and the yarn in every colour you need. Enough for seven pairs of bright, cheerful socks with a wink – for yourself, as a gift, or as a sock stash for the whole winter.

Cleverly combined, better value than buying separately
Many colours appear in several designs, and the seeds often only need a few metres. That’s why we’ve carefully matched the yarn amounts in the Complete Kit: shared colours and small quantities are split between designs, so you don’t pay for any unnecessary balls. Compared to buying each design separately, you save up to €23.

The designs
🍌 Banana: Perfect for beginners – thanks to its curved shape, it has no heel at all!
🥝 Kiwi: Bright green with tiny seeds and a white heel.
🍊 Orange: Worked in seed stitch with a heart-shaped heel and a little green leaf at the cuff.
🫐 Blueberry: Little berries made from dropped stitches – a pattern you won’t want to put down.
🍓 Strawberry: Red with yellow seeds, green heel and toe, knitted with shadow wraps.
🍉 Watermelon: Pink flesh, white rind and black seeds.
🐉 Dragon Fruit: White with dark seeds, framed in pink and green.

On the Kiwi, Strawberry, Watermelon, and Dragon Fruit designs, the seeds are knitted using stranded colourwork. The motifs are small and easy to follow – ideal for trying this technique for the first time. You’ll build your skills from design to design, from the heel-free Banana to the Strawberry with its shadow-wrap heel.

The yarn
All socks are knitted with Edelweiss ALPACA 4-ply by Kremke Soul Wool. The yarn is soft and warm, hard-wearing thanks to its polyamide content, machine washable, and just the right weight for socks you’ll never want to take off. All colours match the original colours in the pattern.

Good to know about Blueberry: The pattern calls for Edelweiss Classic for the Blueberry socks. As the original colour is no longer available, your kit includes Edelweiss ALPACA 4-ply in 40 – Dark Blue instead. Gauge and yardage are almost identical, so you can knit straight from the pattern.

Good to know about Strawberry: In the pattern, the heel and toe are knitted in green. If you’d prefer a red heel, simply order 1 extra ball in colour 21 – Red.

Sizes
EU 22/23 to 42/43 or EU 44/45 to 46/47 – you’ll find the exact stitch counts and foot lengths for every size in the size chart in the pattern.

Gauge: 30 stitches x 40 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (on 2.5 mm needles) in stockinette stitch worked in the round.

For this kit you will need the following accessories:
2.5 mm double-pointed needles or a long circular needle
Stitch marker (for Orange)
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
