Luna Zip Sweater Solid Color - PEER GYNT & TYNN SILK MOHAIR - Knitting Kit (ENG)

The Luna Zip Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch, using three strands of yarn in different colors held together to create a unique melange effect. The upper back section is knitted in rows, with short rows shaping the neckline and shoulder slopes, and increases forming the armhole curves. Then stitches are picked up to knit the right and left front pieces individually, creating an opening for the zipper. After the front and back pieces are finished, they are joined, and the body is knitted in the round down to the hem. Stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. The neckline is finished in rows in 1x1 ribbing, creating hidden plackets that form the zipper strip where the zipper will eventually be sewn in.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Luna Zip Sweater has a loose fit (oversized) and is designed with approximately 13–20 cm of positive ease; slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more balanced and comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements will be approximately 13–20 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.

Gauge: After washing and blocking:
17 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.

If you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then easily return any unused yarn balls to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needles:
4.5 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm.
4 mm, 80 or 100 cm optional.
3.5 mm, 80 or 100 cm.

Double-pointed needles:
4.5 mm optional.
4 mm.
3.5 mm optional.

+ Stitch markers, scrap yarn or stitch holders, wool needle, sewing needle, zipper (size 4 or 5, 25 cm), matching sewing thread.
