The Ninon Sweater is knitted from the top down in a cable pattern. It begins with the back, which is knitted in rows, while the neckline is shaped with short rows, followed by increases for the shoulders. Next, stitches are picked up to knit the left and right front separately, with increases for the round neckline. Then, additional stitches are cast on for the neckline, and the front is continued in one piece in rows. Once all parts are finished, stitches are cast on for the armholes, and knitting continues in the round, finishing with a rib cuff. Then, stitches are picked up for the collar, which is knitted in a 2x2 rib pattern, folded in the middle, and secured. Finally, stitches are picked up along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the yarn specified in the pattern.

Size Guide: The Ninon Sweater has a loose fit (oversized) and is designed with approx. 10–25 cm positive ease; slightly reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more balanced and comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements will be approx. 10–25 cm larger than your actual bust circumference.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL are designed for a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.

Gauge:

After washing and blocking:
25 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm in cable pattern with 4.5 mm needles.
19 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.
27 sts x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 2x2 rib pattern with 3 mm needles.

If you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately.

You can then simply return any unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Circular needles: 4.5 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm & 3 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm.

Double-pointed needles: 3 mm or long circular needle for the Magic Loop method.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
