Holding Yarns – For Extra Fluff and Color

A holding yarn (carry-along yarn) is knitted together with a main yarn. This creates soft, slightly fluffy surfaces and beautiful color effects. Mohair-silk yarns such as Silkhair and Tynn Silk Mohair are especially popular.
