How does the contest work?
How can you participate?
Submit a rough design idea to us by June 1st, 2025 – for example, a description, sketch or mood board.
Important: Please only use yarns from the Oonique shop .
Send your application, including your Instagram name and yarn details, via email to: commuknitty@oonique.com .
What happens next?
Our jury selects the 5 best designs and informs the selected designers.
We provide you with all the necessary materials and guide you through the entire process of creating your design, from knitting to creating your instructions.
Important: Test knitting!
Once the designs and instructions are finalized, the test knits will be accompanied by our community in the OONIQUE Circle.
All participants will receive an exclusive discount code .
What awaits the finalists?
All five designs will be offered as knitting kits in the Oonique shop after the competition.
Additionally, your instructions will also be available individually as a digital copy from OONIQUE.
If required: Your finished knitting project will be professionally photographed.
How can I win?
The Oonique community votes for their favorite – the winner receives not only a share of the revenue but also the special award of being a community favorite ❤️
In addition, the designer of the favorite design will receive a €200 voucher.
What good will that do me later?
You will receive the necessary materials for your design.
You will receive a commission on the sale of your knitting kit and pattern. ( Important: the pattern can only be purchased through OONIQUE.)
