The cuff of the Primavera Socks features a blooming border of small flowers, framed by wheat motifs that repeat at the toe. The heel and toe shine in an accent color, making these socks real eye-catchers. Depending on the colors you choose, they also make fantastic Christmas socks. Worked from the cuff down to the toe, they feature a heel flap and a heart heel. For the heel flap, you have the choice between stockinette stitch and a durable slip-stitch pattern. A lovely project for anyone wanting to try knitting with multiple colors.

The knitting kit contains the original yarn specified in the pattern: Edelweiss Alpaka 4-ply by Kremke Soul Wool – the cozy version of classic sock yarn with a noticeable alpaca content, durable and machine washable.

How to choose your colors:
Main color – for the leg and foot
Cuff & Wheat – for the cuff and wheat motifs
Flowers, Heel & Toe – for the flowers, the heel, and the toe

You can knit both socks the same or, as described in the pattern, swap the main color and the cuff color for the second sock – for a mismatched pair that still goes perfectly together. The yarn balls in the set are sufficient for both versions.

Gauge: 30 stitches x 40 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (using 2.5 mm needle size) worked in stockinette stitch in the round.
