The Salt Top is a light, loose-fitting piece made of three panels, a main body and two wing panels, which are joined together as you knit. The diagonal lines come naturally from this construction.

The top is worked entirely top-down in stockinette stitch. The neckline is finished with a folded stockinette band, while the armholes and body edges get an attached I-cord.

You can also turn the top around and wear the wing panels at the front or the back, whichever you like.

The model is wearing size 2. Bust: 80 cm, height: 1.65 m.

Please note that the stated measurements can only be achieved if you keep the correct gauge throughout the entire knitting process.

Gauge: 16 stitches x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles

If you’d like to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately.

You’ll need the following tools for this set:
Circular needles 3.5 mm, 60–80 cm cable length

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT included in the kit.
