The Axis Cardigan is knitted sideways in stripes of stockinette stitch, alternating between the right and wrong sides. First one front is knitted, then the other front, followed by the back, and finally the sleeves. The shoulders of the front and back are sewn together, then the sleeves are set in, and finally the sides are seamed.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the pattern.

Bust circumference: 110 (122) 134 (140) cm

Length (from top of neck to hem):
54 (57) 59 (60) cm

Positive ease:
20–30 cm in the smaller sizes, gradually decreasing to 10-20 cm in the larger sizes.

Gauge: 16 sts and 25 rows = 10 × 10 cm in Stockinette stitch on 4.5 mm needles

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.
