The Phoenix Sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. It begins with the back, which is knitted in rows up to the armhole openings, with increases to shape the shoulder slopes. Then, stitches are picked up along the shoulder slopes to knit the left and right front sections separately, with increases for the V-neck. After that, the front is joined and knitted in one piece until the armhole openings. Stitches are then cast on for the armholes to finish the body in the round, with a sewn bind-off edge as the finishing touch. To knit the sleeves, stitches are picked up along the armholes. After a few short rows, the work continues in rounds, with increases and decreases, until the stitches are sewn off here as well. Finally, the neckline is bordered with an I-cord knitted on.
The model in the photo was knitted in “Yarn” in “Color” (Col. “Color Number”).
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL
Bust Circumference: 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm.
The Phoenix Sweater has an oversized fit and is designed with approx. 25 cm (9.75 inches) of positive ease; reduced for larger sizes to ensure a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment measurements are approx. 25 cm (9.75 inches) larger than your bust circumference, varying slightly depending on the size. Measure yourself before choosing the size that best suits you. For example, if your measured bust circumference (or the circumference of the widest part of your upper body) is 95 cm (37.5 inches), you should knit size M. The finished garment in size M will have a circumference of 120 cm (47.25 inches), resulting in approx. 25 cm (9.75 inches) of positive ease.
Circumference: 110 (116) 120 (125) 133 (140) 148 (158) 167 cm

Please note that the stated measurements can only be achieved if you maintain the correct gauge throughout the entire knitting process.
Gauge: 21 sts x 30 rows = 10 × 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch with 4 mm (US 6) needles.
Measure the gauge after washing and blocking. If necessary, adjust your needle size to achieve the correct gauge.
If you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. Unused balls of yarn can simply be returned to us.
For this set, you will need the following accessories:
4 mm (US 6) circular needles, 40 and 80 or 100 cm (16 and 32 or 40 inches), and double-pointed needles of the same size if the Magic Loop method is not used.
For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
