This special summer top is knitted in one piece from the top down. It begins at the sweetheart neckline, and increases are worked along the front and back bands, as well as the sleeves (and straps). The main body is worked in stockinette stitch, while the front and back bands and sleeves are worked in garter stitch. The sleeve straps are placed on hold, and the underarm curves of the front and back are shaped separately using short rows. After hemming in broken ribbing, the body is bound off with a corded edge. Finally, the strap edges are finished with a corded edge. Alternatively, a garter stitch finish is shown.

Comfort adjustment: The size information is a guideline. Choose the size that is 0-10 cm larger than your measured chest circumference.
The following techniques are used in the instructions: Stockinette stitch, garter stitch, broken rib, corded edge (I-cord edge), short rows with double stitches as turning stitches (German short rows)
Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.
For this set you will need the following accessories:
- Circular knitting needles sufficient to achieve the gauge (washed and blocked). 4 mm needles are recommended, as well as a smaller size (for the cuffs) 3 mm needles, each with a cable length of at least 60 cm.
- Optional: Double-pointed needles in the same needle sizes (if you do not want to knit the sleeves using the MAGIC LOOP METHOD).
- The I-cord edge can be worked with a circular knitting needle.
- Stitch markers (8), stitch holders or yarn scraps, yarn needle
For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
