Friday Slipover - SUNDAY & TYNN SILK MOHAIR - Knitting set

The Friday pullover is knitted from the top down in a broken rib pattern. First, the back is worked, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. Ribbed cuffs are knitted along the neckline and around the armholes.

Knit a gauge swatch first before you begin the actual knitting. Please note that the broken rib pattern will stretch further after washing/wearing. Therefore, you should expect the gauge to be approximately 24-25 stitches per 10 cm before washing/wearing, but 22 stitches per 10 cm after washing/wearing.

For shoulder width and fit, it is extremely important to maintain the exact gauge. Therefore, wash your gauge swatch before measuring.

Size guide

The Friday pullover should allow for freedom of movement ( positive ease). The size should be approximately 6 cm larger than your bust measurement. Sizes (36), 38, and (40) fit a bust measurement of (85-90), 90-95, and (95-100) cm. Take your own measurements before you start knitting to ensure you've chosen the correct size. For example, if your bust measurement is 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as this corresponds to a bust measurement of 96 cm.
