The Harper Vest from the Sandnes Collection 2502 DIY is a casual vest with varied patterns and striking cables. Its look is reminiscent of 80s designs, yet it appears both classic and timeless.
It is knitted from top to bottom. First, the back piece is worked, shaped with increases and knitted in rows up to the armholes. Then, stitches for the front pieces are picked up from the shoulders and worked according to the chart, also up to the armholes. After that, the back and front pieces are joined and knitted together according to the instructions down to the bottom ribbing. Stitches are picked up around the armholes and ribbing is worked. Finally, the button band is knitted on.
It is knitted with Tynn Silk Mohair, which is worked with two strands.
The model in the photo was knitted with two strands of "BALLERINA CHUNKY MOHAIR" in "Hvit Fb. 1012" and "KOS" in "Marsipan Fb. 2310".
