The Hey Ho Vest is an airy knitted piece in a lace pattern that can be worn both on its own as a summer top and as a vest over a shirt.
The Hey Ho Vest is worked in one piece from the top down using 3.5 mm needles. First, the back is knitted, and stitches are picked up from this for the right and left front pieces. All three pieces are joined under the arms, and the body is finished in rows. The length of the vest can be customized; the pattern suggests both a long and a short version. Finally, the cuffs are knitted on using 2.5 mm needles, and buttons can be sewn on if desired.

Chest circumference of the vest :

Gauge: Approximately 20 sts x 28 rows, knitted in pattern with a 3.5 mm needle, result in 10 x 10 cm when washed and carefully blocked.
The following techniques are used in the instructions: cast-on, picking up stitches from the knitting, right-leaning increases, left-leaning increases, classic bind-off.
Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.
For this set you will need the following accessories: 3.5 and 2.5 mm circular knitting needles, or needles suitable for the gauge swatch.
For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
