The Hipster Beanie from the Sandnes 2412 collection is a modern fisherman's hat with a double folded brim. It is knitted from bottom to top. First, you work an Italian cast-on, which creates a particularly elastic and neat edge. Then you continue with twisted rib stitch until the emphasized decreases begin. The Italian cast-on ensures that the double brim remains comfortably stretchy and makes the hat fit perfectly on the head.
The black model in the photo was knitted with two strands of "ALPAKKA ULL" in "Black color 1099" and "ALPAKKA FOLGETRAD" in "Black color 1099".
The grey model in the photo was knitted with two strands of "ALPAKKA ULL" in "Natural tweed color 2523" and "ALPAKKA FOLGETRAD" in "Natural tweed color 2523".

Gauge: 28 sts, slightly stretched, and 27 rounds of rib with 1 strand of each quality with needles size 3.5 = 10 x 10 cm
If you want to knit in a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately.
