The Holiday Slipover is a chunky knit slipover with deep armholes, knitted in stockinette stitch from top to bottom. First the back is worked, then the shoulders and front, and finally the body. A two-part ribbing edge is knitted at the bottom of the body, with the edge on the back being longer than on the front. Finally, edgings are knitted along the neckline and around the armholes, which are bound off using the Italian method, as this provides the cleanest result.

First, knit a swatch before you begin actual knitting. Please note that three strands are knitted simultaneously (2 strands of the thicker yarn, 1 strand of silk mohair).

The model in the photo was knitted using a different yarn than included in the knitting kit.

Size Guide

The Holiday Slipover should have a positive ease of approx. 6 cm in relation to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. Measure yourself before you start knitting to ensure you have chosen the correct size for you. If your bust circumference measures, for example, 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S, as the bust circumference for this size is 96 cm.

If you prefer a slightly oversized slipover, you can knit one size larger than usual.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately.

You can then simply return any unused yarn balls to us.

Circular needles 10 mm (60, 80 or 100 cm), Circular needles 9 mm (40 and 60 cm)
