Jenny jacket - SUNDAY & TYNN SILK MOHAIR women - knitting set

The Jenny jacket is knitted from the bottom up in a smocked pattern. The body and sleeves are worked separately before all pieces are joined onto a circular needle and the yoke is worked. The yoke is worked with short rows at the top, so the neckline is higher at the back. The body is worked flat, while the sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or with the The Magic Loop method is used. Finally, stitches are picked up along the front edges for the button bands, followed by the neckline.

Size guide

The Jenny jacket should allow for freedom of movement ( positive ease). The cardigan should have a ratio of approximately 12-15 cm to your bust measurement. Sizes (36), 38, and (40) fit a bust measurement of (85-90), 90-95, and (95-100) cm. The finished cardigan measurements are shown on the front of the pattern. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size 36. A cardigan in size 36 has a bust measurement of 102 cm and would therefore have 12 cm of positive ease . If you are between sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size, as the smocking pattern will stretch slightly with wear.
