The hat is knitted in the round on circular needles. The cuff with 3.5 mm needles, the leopard pattern with 4.0 mm needles, the decreases with 4.0 mm double-pointed needles. For a particularly beautiful cast-on edge, the Italian cast-on method is used. If this is too elaborate or complicated, you can also use the classic long-tail cast-on or another preferred cast-on method. When knitting the two-color leopard pattern, a so-called knitting thimble can be useful. This helps with managing multiple colors... for all those who have little experience in two-color knitting ;)

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes:  One size (head circumference 55 - 58 cm)

BASIC PATTERN:
Rib pattern (= cuff pattern): 1 purl, 1 knit alternately
Jacquard pattern: See chart. All rounds are shown in the chart.

Gauge:
Rib pattern with 3.5 mm needles: 22 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm (unstretched)
Jacquard pattern with 4.0 mm needles: 22 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm

Should you wish to knit a larger size, you can order additional

balls of yarn separately. You can then return the unused balls of yarn

to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

Circular needles 3.5 mm (50 or 60 cm), Circular needles 4.0 mm (50 or 60 cm), Double-pointed needles 4.0 mm
