The RIKA hooded scarf is quick to knit and a lot of fun. You need a cozy, thick yarn and should know how to knit knit and purl stitches as well as short rows. This hooded scarf has a unique construction: you simply knit the long scarf section and then shape the hood using short rows. Finally, a few long scarf rows are added, including ribbing on the front hood edge. That's it!

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the pattern.

Size: Total scarf length: 168 cm | Scarf width: approx. 15 cm | Total hood height: approx. 44 cm | Hood width: approx. 27 cm

Gauge: 15 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, measured after washing and blocking.

The pattern uses the following techniques:
