Features: The needle tips consist of a multicolored, stained design- Birchwood needles that warm up quickly in your hands. The smooth, polished surface allows stitches to glide effortlessly, making them the perfect companion for long knitting days. The sharp, gently tapered tips easily grip stitches and are also suitable for intricate cable patterns and quickly joining multiple stitches together.
The needle tips are part of an interchangeable system. Thanks to the replaceable needle tips and cables, you can adjust your circular knitting needles to the required size without needing to own every needle in every length. This saves you needle clutter, space, and money.
How does the swapping system work?
There are six different cable lengths available: 40, 50, 60, 80, 100, and 120 cm. You can screw the various Vario needle tips onto these plastic cables, allowing you to easily adjust the needle size. The Vario needle tips are available in short and long versions. The short tips range from 3.0 to 6.0 mm, and the long tips from 3 to 12 mm.
The advantages of the interchangeable system:
- Pausing your knitting is incredibly easy. Simply remove the needle tips, screw two stoppers onto the cable ends, and voilà – your knitting is now secure. This saves you the hassle of threading onto a cable needle.
- The needle tip and cable are attached with a fine, long, and sturdy metal thread. Using a specially designed wrench, you can tighten the connection through a small hole in the thread.
- A cleanly crafted transition between needle and rope that you will hardly feel.
Please note: The stated cable length refers to the length of the cable including the attached needle tips. The short needle tips are specifically recommended for use with 40mm cables, but are compatible with all interchangeable cables we offer.
