The Ava Sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down in half-patent stitch using 3.5 mm needles, with a V-shaped pattern created on the front through increases and decreases. First, the back is worked in rows, then stitches are picked up for the shoulders, joined, and worked in rows until the armholes are joined. The body is then worked in rounds until the short front is shaped using German short rows and finished with a ribbed cuff. Next, the sleeves are worked. Here you have two options: you can choose wide or tapered sleeves. Finally, the neckband is added.

80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-107 (107-116) 116-124 cm
TIP: If you have a short torso, choose a size smaller for sizes 6 & 7.

This corresponds to a comfort allowance of approximately 18β27 cm.

The sweater is hip-length in the front and slightly longer in the back. The instructions indicate where it can be shortened or lengthened. Plan on using extra yarn if needed.
The following techniques are used in the instructions: Deep half-patent stitch in rows, deep half-patent stitch in rounds, ribbing.
Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.
For this set you will need the following accessories: 3.5 mm (or possibly 4.5 mm for casting on stitches) circular knitting needles or needles suitable for the gauge swatch.
For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
