The Balloon Sweater features balloon sleeves that start well below the shoulders, emphasizing the snug wrist cuffs. The Balloon Sweater is knitted top-down. At the beginning of the yoke, shoulder increases and short rows for the neckline are worked simultaneously. Afterwards, the front and back are knitted separately (in stockinette stitch, in rows). Below the armholes, the work is joined back onto one needle, and the rest of the body is knitted on a circular needle. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and are then knitted in the round on a circular needle and finally on double-pointed needles (or using the Magic Loop method). Thus, the Balloon Sweater does not require any seaming, except for weaving in the ends.

Size Guide 

The Balloon Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to your bust circumference. Sizes (S) M (L) fit a body bust circumference of (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are on the front (note that these measurements only apply if the gauge is adhered to). Measure your bust circumference (or the widest part of your body) before you start knitting to determine the size that fits you best. For example, if your bust circumference is 94 cm, you should choose size M. A size M sweater has a bust circumference of 110 cm and would in this case have a positive ease of 16 cm.
