Knit your next socks now with our knitting kit. Simple, thick socks, ideal for cozy days at home on the couch or extra warm feet in boots and wellies. The socks look particularly good when the cuff protrudes a little from the shoes. As the name suggests, the socks are designed very simply, without much fuss, so that they can be knitted quickly and easily. They are worked from top to bottom with 4.0 mm double-pointed needles. First, the cuff is knitted in 1/1 ribbing, then the leg in 2/2 ribbing. The heel is worked as a gusset heel using Shadow Wraps. Finally, the toe is knitted as a classic wedge toe.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes: 28/29 to 46/47

(Only sizes 36/37 (38/39) 40/41 (42/43) are described in the instructions. Information for all other sizes can be found in the size chart on page 11.)

Gauge: Stockinette stitch with 4.0 mm needles: 21 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (measured after washing and lying flat)

If you want to knit a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then easily return any unused yarn balls to us.
