The knitting kit contains an alternative yarn to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The BERLIN Scarf is an extra-large, extra-warm scarf with decorative fringes - perfect for snuggling up in on cold days.

The scarf is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch as a tube and is double-layered. The fringe is also knitted and then attached directly to the scarf using a double-knitting technique. This project is ideal for beginners as it doesn't require many techniques.

Sizes: Length (excluding fringe): approx. 200 cm, Width: approx. 26–27 cm, Fringe length: approx. 18 cm

The following techniques are used in the instructions: provisional cast-on, double knitting technique. All techniques used are explained in the instructions or under the heading 'Terms & Explanations' on page 5.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

6 mm circular knitting needle, 60-80 cm long (for the fringe)
7 mm circular knitting needle, 60 cm long
7 mm - 8 mm crochet hook and contrasting colored auxiliary thread for provisional cast-on, stitch markers, tapestry needle
