The Carlotta Sweater is knitted from the top down in a slipped stitch pattern. First, the left and right shoulders are knitted separately.
Then stitches are picked up to knit the back.
Next, stitches are picked up for the right and left front pieces, and increases are worked to shape the V-neck. Short rows are used on both the front and back to ensure a comfortable fit at the shoulders. Once all the pieces are complete, they are joined to work the body in the round. Then, stitches are picked up to work the V-neck in a 1x1 rib pattern, in the round, using three different colors. Finally, stitches are picked up to work the sleeves in the round.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Sizes: XS / S / M / L / XL / 2XL / 3XL

The Carlotta Sweater has a relaxed fit and is designed with approximately 15 cm of extra room; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes for a more comfortable fit. This means the garment will be about 15 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Designed for chest circumferences of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm.

Gauge swatch: After washing and blocking:

30 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm in slip stitch pattern with needle size 4.5 mm.

28 sts x 32 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with 3 mm needles.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needles:
4.5 mm, 40, 60 and 80 or 100 cm
3 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm

Double needles:
3 mm or long circular knitting needles for the Magic Loop technique.
