The Chantal Chunky Sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down using a slipped stitch pattern. First, the back is worked, then the two shoulders separately. Short rows are used to shape the shoulders.
to achieve a better fit.

Once these sections are finished, the stitches under the arms are joined and the body is knitted in rounds. Then, stitches are picked up along the armholes to work the sleeves in the round as well.
Finally, stitches are picked up around the neckline and a roll collar is knitted in rounds.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Chantal Chunky Sweater has an oversized cut and a 30 cm positive hem.
Designed with some leeway. This means that the garment's dimensions will be approximately 30 cm larger than your actual bust measurement.

Chest circumference : 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130cm

Gauge swatch: After washing and stretching:

17 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm in slip stitch pattern with 6 mm needle size.
24 sts x 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 2x2 rib pattern with 4 mm needle size.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

circular knitting needles
6 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm
4 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm

Double needles:
4 mm or long circular knitting needles for the Magic Loop method.

Stitch markers, leftover yarn or stitch holder, tapestry needle.
