Chestnut Sweater Women - VESTERHAVET - Knit Set

The Chestnut Sweater is knitted from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is knitted in rows, while the shoulder slopes are worked in short rows for a good fit. Then, the shoulders are knitted separately in rows on a circular needle before being joined together to form the front. The front and back are then joined to form the body, which is knitted in the round on a circular needle. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up around the armholes and knitted in the round on a circular needle using the Magic Loop method or double-pointed needles. The large turtleneck is knitted in ribbing from the stitches picked up around the neckline.

The Chestnut Sweater should have approximately 30 cm of positive ease relative to your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a body bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are on the front. Take your measurements before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A size S sweater has a bust measurement of 120 cm and would therefore have 30 cm of positive ease.

Recommended needles: 4 mm circular needle (40, 80 and/or 100 cm), 3 mm circular needle (40 cm), 3.5 and 4 mm double-pointed needles (if not knitting with the Magic Loop method)
