Chestnut Sweater Women - PEER GYNT - Knitting Set

The Chestnut Sweater is knit from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is worked flat, while short rows are used to shape the shoulders for a good fit. The shoulders are then worked separately flat on circular needles before being joined to form the front. The front and back are then joined to form the body, which is worked in the round on circular needles. For the sleeves, stitches are picked up around the armholes and worked in the round on circular needles using the Magic Loop method or double-pointed needles. The large roll neck is worked in ribbing from the picked-up stitches at the neckline.

The Chestnut Sweater should have approximately 30 cm of positive ease relative to your chest measurement. The fit is oversized. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The finished sweater measurements are shown on the front. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in size S has a chest circumference of 120 cm and would in this case have a freedom of movement (positive ease) of 30 cm.
