The casual shopping net is the perfect companion for summer. Light and airy, ideal for shopping or as a beach bag.
The bag is knitted in a simple lace pattern with yarn overs. First, the net part is knitted in rows with thick needles, then the bag gets its shape by bordering it with a smaller needle size. The instructions include two variations: the basic variation with a garter stitch border, i.e., the original EDDA Bag from 2018, and a new, alternative variation with a ribbed border.

The knitting kit contains an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

Size: One Size

Gauge:
A gauge swatch in lace pattern is not necessary. The measurements will change depending on how the knitted piece is
stretched, so a swatch would not be conclusive.
However, the lace pattern should be knitted rather tightly. If you tend to knit loosely, choose about half a
needle size smaller.

The instructions use the following techniques: Provisional cast-on, lace pattern with yarn overs, picking up
stitches, picking up stitches from garter stitch edge, Kitchener stitch.

If you want to knit in a larger size, you can order additional yarn balls separately. You can then easily return any unused yarn balls to us.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needle 7.0 mm (60 - 80 cm)
Circular knitting needle 3.5 mm (80 - 100 cm)
Crochet hook 7.0 mm - 8.0 mm and contrasting
waste yarn or yarn scrap for the provisional
cast-on, tapestry needle.
