The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

This cardigan is worked seamlessly from the top down with raglan increases. The button band is worked a few centimeters to shape the neckline. Then, stitches are picked up along the sides of the button band for the back, front, and sleeves.

The jacket is knitted in rows with raglan increases – before and after the five center raglan stitches, which are worked in a twisted rib pattern. Once the desired number of stitches is reached, the sleeves are placed on hold and the body is knitted separately. The sleeves are then worked. Under the arms, the decorative rib pattern seamlessly transitions into the body and sleeves.

For a beautiful stitch pattern, the body and sleeves are finished with a smaller needle size in a twisted rib pattern.

The fit is loose and oversized. The sleeves are long and reach to the middle of the hand. The torso is short, but the length can easily be adjusted.

Sizes: XS | S | M (L | XL | 2XL) 3XL

Gauge: 10 x 10 cm = 14 stitches x 20 rounds in stockinette stitch with 2 strands of yarn held together on 6 mm knitting needles (blocked wet)

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

5 mm and 6 mm circular knitting needles (optional: double-pointed needles for the sleeves), darning needle
3-4 buttons (ø 25 mm), stitch markers/scraps
