Elisabeth Blouse - CASHMERE CLASSIC - knitting set

The Elisabeth Blouse is worked from the top down. First, the collar is worked so that the front and back appear in stockinette stitch. Then, the first part of the yoke is worked in rows on a circular needle with raglan increases. Stitches are picked up along the edges of the yoke and then worked in double knit, while the rest of the yoke is gathered and finished. The neckline is shaped using short rows.

This pattern uses the techniques Judy's Magic Cast On, German Short Rows, double knitting, and Italian bind-off. First, knit a gauge swatch to determine the correct needle size for you.

Size guide

The Elisabeth Blouse should have approximately 6 cm of positive ease. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The finished blouse measurements can be found on the cover. Please note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is maintained. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A blouse in size S has a bust measurement of 96 cm and would therefore have 6 cm of positive ease.

Recommended needles: Circular knitting needles 4 mm (2 pcs. 80 and/or 100 cm), circular knitting needles 3.5 mm (80 and/or 100 cm), circular knitting needles 2.5 mm (60 cm), double-pointed needles 3.5 mm and 4 mm (unless you are knitting with the Magic Loop method)
