The knitting kit includes a yarn alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions, which has been approved by the designer.

The Ellie Shirt is a fitted shirt knitted in one piece from the top down. It features a double-broken rib pattern and a distinctive ribbed detail at the waist. First, the back is worked, then stitches are cast on for the front pieces, which are then worked individually. Finally, all the pieces are joined together, and the body is finished in the round. An I-cord marks the beginning of the back, the V-neck and armholes have an I-cord edge, and the body is finished with an I-cord. The shirt can be knitted with either short or long sleeves, and with or without a waist shaping.

The shirt is designed to be worn with approximately 5-7 cm of freedom of movement (around the bust).
If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the larger size.
If you prefer a tighter-fitting shirt, choose a size with less room for movement in comparison.
*Example: If your bust measurement is 95 cm, choose size D with a circumference of 101.5 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

3 mm circular knitting needles (with an 80-100 cm long cable) or those required to achieve the specified gauge.
If you knit loosely, I recommend using 2.5 mm needles for the i-cord cast-off edge. If you knit tightly or have never used an i-cord cast-off before, I recommend using 3 mm needles for the i-cord finish.
3 mm crochet hook, used for the provisional cast-on.
Stitch markers (including a few stitch markers that can be opened)
Wool needle for sewing in threads
Yarn scraps/needle cables/stitch holders for holding stitches
