The knitting kit includes a yarn alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions, which has been approved by the designer.
The Erna Mittens are classic mittens, knitted in a double-broken rib pattern to match the Erna Beanie. They are knitted in the round from the bottom up in one piece. The toe of the mittens is finished with decorative decreases, just like the Erna Beanie.
The instructions also include how to convert the mittens into glove gloves.
Size: Circumference of 18 cm (This circumference should roughly correspond to the widest part of your hand.)
Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.
For this set you will need the following accessories:
- 3.5 mm circular knitting needles (40 cm cable, 80 cm cable for Magic Loop or a set of 3.5 mm double-pointed needles)
- 4 stitch markers
- A small piece of leftover yarn on which the stitches for the thumb can be placed on hold.
- Wool needle for sewing in threads
For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
