This jacket is knitted in rows from the top down. The button placket is not added later, but knitted directly into the body and finished with i-cord edges. The advantage of this top-down knitting method is that the length of the body and sleeves can be tested and adjusted individually by trying it on.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

Gauge swatch
The gauge for this jacket is 20 stitches per 10 cm. Needle size 5.5 mm.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needle size 5.5 (40 and 100/120/150 cm, depending on size and preference)

Double-pointed needles size 5.5 (for the sleeve cuffs)

Darning needle for sewing

Stitch markers

Buttons (at least 25mm)
