The Freestyle Sweater is a simple raglan pullover with three-quarter sleeves and subtle details at the cuffs. A versatile piece that's easy to combine with other items and perfect for spring and summer.

The sweater is knitted seamlessly from the top down. First, the neckline is shaped using short rows (working back and forth). Then, the work continues in the round, with increases for the body and sleeves. Once the raglan increases are complete, the work is divided, and the body and sleeves are finished separately. Because the sweater is knitted from the top down, it is possible (and advisable) to try it on while knitting, allowing for individual adjustments to the length of both the body and sleeves.

The following techniques are used in the instructions: Short rows (German short rows), left- and right-leaning increases and decreases, and binding off using the 'Italian method'. All techniques used are explained in the instructions with the help of photos and links to tutorials.

The sweater should have approximately 10-15 cm of positive ease (room for movement) from the body. For example, if your chest circumference is 92 cm, you should knit size M.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this kit you will need the following supplies: 4.0 mm (60 cm and 80-100 cm) circular knitting needles, 4.0 mm double-pointed needles or cable needles for the box pleat on the sleeve, 3.0 mm (40-60 cm and 80-100 cm) circular knitting needles for the neck and sleeve cuffs, as well as the body ribbing. Optionally, 3.0 mm double-pointed needles for the front sleeve cuff.

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
