The yellow Holger Sweater Man is knitted in the colors Cacao nibs (Fb 3091), Solgul (Fb 2016), Perfect purple (Fb 5012), Spicy orange (Fb 3819) and Bubblegum pink (Fb 4315).

The green Holger Sweater Man is knitted in the colors Jelly bean green (Fb 8236), Ash melange (Fb 1021), Ballet shoes (Fb 3521), Sunny lime (Fb 9825), Lys lilla (Fb 5224) and Poppy (Fb 4008).

The Holger Sweater Man is worked from the top down. While the body is knitted with stripes, the sleeves and neckband are worked in a single color. First, the upper part of the back is worked in rows, while the shoulders are shaped using short rows. The stripe pattern is worked simultaneously. Next, the shoulders are worked separately on a circular needle. These are then joined to form the front. The front and back are then joined to form the body, which is knitted in rounds with stripes on a circular needle. The sleeves are worked from picked-up stitches around the armholes. Finally, the neckband is knitted from picked-up stitches and folded in half.

The Holger Sweater Man pattern should have approximately 15-20 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 86-91 (91-96) 96-101 (101-107) 107-113 (113-119) 119-124 (124-132) 132-144 cm. The finished sweater measurements can be found on the cover. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 105 cm, you should choose size L. A sweater in size L... Size L has a chest circumference of 122 cm and would therefore have a positive ease of 17 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 4 mm circular knitting needles, 40, 60 and 80 and/or 100 cm
• 3.5 mm circular knitting needles, 40 and 80 and/or 100 cm
• 3.5 mm and 4 mm double-pointed needles (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method)
