The Islender Sweater Junior by Sandnes Garn is a classic children's sweater with a traditional Nordic color motif. The iconic "Icelandic" pattern is a timeless design that brings real joy to knitting. The sweater is ideal for winter and will be a special eye-catcher in any child's wardrobe.
The Islender Sweater Junior is knitted from top to bottom. First, you cast on stitches for the yoke and continue working in rows, while increasing for both raglan and the neckline. Then you join in the round and continue the pattern according to the chart with further raglan increases. Below the armpits, you separate the body and sleeves and knit both sections separately. Finally, the collar is knitted on.
The model in the photo was knitted in main color "TYNN PEER GYNT" in "Koksmelert color1088" & pattern color "Hvit color 1002".
