The Jenny Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a smock pattern with raglan increases. The body and sleeves are knitted separately before being transferred to a circular needle for the yoke. The neckline is worked in rows on the needle and shaped while stitches are cast off. Finally, the neckband is knitted from the cast-on stitches.

First, make a gauge swatch to determine the right needle size for you.

Chest circumference: 104 (109) 114 (119) 129 (139) 149 (158) cm

Length: 61 (62) 63 (63) 65 (67) 69 (70) cm (measured in the middle of the back including neckband)

The Jenny Sweater should have approximately 19 cm of positive ease relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) fit a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm. The finished sweater measurements are shown on the first page. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in size S has a bust measurement of 109 cm and would therefore have 19 cm of positive ease. If you are between two sizes, it is recommended to choose the smaller size, as the smock pattern will stretch a little when worn.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 3.5 mm and 4 mm circular knitting needles, 40, 60, 80 long and 100 or 120 cm
• 3.5 mm and 4 mm double-pointed needles (if the sleeves are not knitted using the Magic Loop method)

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
