The knitting kit includes a yarn alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions, which has been approved by the designer.

The June Top Light is worked from the bottom up. The body is worked in stockinette stitch in the round, after which it is divided into front and back pieces; both pieces are finished separately in stockinette stitch in rows. The pattern also includes instructions for working the top from the center out using a provisional cast-on, allowing you to adjust the length to your liking. The June Top Light features a deeper back neckline, but deep enough to accommodate a bra. Thin I-cord edgings are worked along all edges.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL fit a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The June Top Light is therefore designed to be worn with a negative ease of -6 cm. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 89 cm, you should choose size S. A top in size S has a chest circumference of 83 cm and would therefore have a negative ease of -6 cm.

The model pictured is wearing size XS with a chest circumference of 80 cm and a height of 1.64 m. The top therefore has a freedom of movement of -1 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

2.5mm circular knitting needle, 80cm long, 2mm circular knitting needle, 40 and 80cm long
