The "No Frills" cardigan is a long cardigan worked from the top down with raglan increases. The cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch, except for a ribbed neckline that extends down the front. Finally, the inner pockets are worked from picked-up stitches on the front of the cardigan.

Size guide

No frills, a cardigan should have approximately 20 cm of positive ease relative to your bust measurement. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL fit a bust measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The finished cardigan measurements are shown on the front of the pattern. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A cardigan in size S has a bust measurement of 110 cm and would therefore have 20 cm of positive ease.

21 stitches x 28 rows in stockinette stitch on 4 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Regarding yarn consumption: The yarn consumption is given for a length of 115 cm, which fits a person of approximately 170 cm.

If you would like to knit in a larger size, you can purchase additional yarn separately.
