The Cumulus Top is worked in stockinette stitch from the top down. First, four triangles are knitted, which are then joined onto a circular needle to form the body. This is knitted in stockinette stitch from the bottom down and finished with a folded edge. Finally, I-cord edgings are worked along the top edges. These then transition into the straps, which are sewn together using the mattress stitch.

Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL fit a chest circumference of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 cm. The Kumulus Top is therefore designed to be worn with a negative ease of -6 cm. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 89 cm, you should choose size S. A top in size S has a chest circumference of 84 cm and would therefore have a negative ease of -5 cm. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size.

Gauge: 28 stitches x 40 rows in stockinette stitch on 3 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

3 mm circular knitting needle (80 or 100 cm), 2.5 mm circular knitting needle (60 and 80 cm)
