The LIHAN women's sweater is a circular yoke sweater knitted from the top down. You can choose whether you prefer a simple stockinette stitch sweater with almost invisible increases, or whether you want to use the increases to create a summery lace pattern or a textured pattern with bobbles.

Once the yoke is finished, you put the sleeve stitches on hold, work a few short rows for a slightly raised back neckline, and then complete the body in the round, either cropped or full length, as you prefer. Then you return to the sleeve stitches and knit them in the round. You can also choose whether you want straight or tapered long sleeves. And that's it! A very simple, top-down knit, beginner-friendly sweater with many variations that you can mix and match to your heart's content.

The size information is only a suggestion. You should choose the size that is closest to your measured bust circumference, plus 10–20 cm for a looser fit. If you prefer a closer fit, choose a size with 0–10 cm extra ease, and for an oversized fit, choose a size with at least 25 cm extra ease.
Example sweater 1 (pink), size 2 (92 cm), is worn in the photos with a chest circumference of 86 cm (6 cm extra ease). The person in the photos is 1.56 m tall and the length of the sweater is slightly cropped (28 cm).

The following techniques are used in the instructions: Old Norwegian cast-on or cross cast-on, cable cast-on (for underarm stitches + I-cord bind-off), I-cord bind-off, stockinette stitch, 1x1 rib pattern, short rows (= DM arb), bobbles

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

3 or 4 mm circular knitting needles (needle sizes that allow you to achieve the gauge) with a cable length of at least 80 cm
Optional double-pointed needles in both sizes (if you don't want to knit the sleeves using the magic loop method)
Stitch markers, stitch holders or scrap yarn // Yarn needle
