The Liv Sweater is knitted from the top down in stockinette stitch, starting with the left and right back pieces, which are shaped using short rows.
Then stitches are cast on for the neckline and the back pieces are joined to continue knitting the back in one piece.
Next, stitches are picked up for the left and right front pieces, which are knitted individually with increases for the neckline, then joined together and knitted in one piece. Once the front and back pieces are finished, stitches are picked up for the armholes and the body is knitted in the round to the hem. The hem is finished in rows.
to create a diagonal slit, which is neatly finished using an I-cord. The sleeve stitches are picked up and knitted in the round, and the neckline is finished with a 1x1 rib.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Liv Sweater has a regular fit and is designed with approximately 10 cm of extra room; this is slightly reduced in larger sizes for a more comfortable fit. This means that the garment will be about 10 cm larger than your actual chest measurement.

Designed for chest circumferences of 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm.

Gauge swatch: After washing and blocking:

20 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 4.5 mm needles.

30 sts x 31 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib pattern with needle size 3.5 mm.

28 rows = 10 cm in the I-cord technique with 3 mm needles.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

Circular knitting needles:
4.5 mm, 40 and 80 or 100 cm.
4 mm, 80 or 100 cm.
3.5 mm, 40 cm.

Double needles:
3 mm.
4 mm optional.
