The Lyon Sweater - Chunky Edition is worked from the top down. First, the upper back section is worked with increases. Then, the shoulders are formed using stitches picked up along the upper back. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, and the remaining yoke is worked together on a circular needle; first in rows, then in rounds. The body is worked in rounds on a circular needle, and the sleeves are also worked in rounds on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. Finally, a roll neck is worked. The Lyon Sweater - Chunky Edition features stripes, the placement of which is described in the pattern.

Size guide

The Lyon Sweater - Chunky Edition should have approximately 20 cm of positive ease relative to your chest measurement, decreasing with size. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished sweater measurements are shown on the cover. Please note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is correct. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the best size. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in size S has a chest circumference of 115 cm and would in this case have a freedom of movement (positive ease) of 25 cm.
