The Lyon Sweater is worked from the top down. First, the upper part of the back is worked with increases. Then, the shoulders are formed using stitches picked up along the upper back. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, and the remaining yoke is worked together on a circular needle; first in rows, then in rounds. The body is worked in rounds on a circular needle, and the sleeves are also worked in rounds on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. Finally, a ribbed neckline with incorporated double stitches is worked and folded in half. The Lyon Sweater is worked with stripes, the placement of which is described in the pattern.

Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

The Lyon Sweater should have approximately 20 cm of positive ease relative to your chest measurement, decreasing in the larger sizes. Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The finished sweater measurements can be found on the cover. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is maintained. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size S. A sweater in size Size S has a chest circumference of 108 cm and would in this case have a range of motion (positive ease) of 18 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 4 mm circular knitting needle (60, 80 and/or 100 cm)
• 3.5 mm circular knitting needle (40, 80 and/or 100 cm)
• 3.5 and 4 mm double-pointed needles (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method)

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
