The Maggie Cardigan is worked from the top down. First, the upper back is worked with increases. Then, the shoulders are formed using stitches picked up from the upper back. Stitches are picked up along the shoulders, and the remaining yoke and body are worked flat on circular needles. The sleeves are worked in the round on double-pointed needles or using the Magic Loop method. Finally, edgings are worked along the front edges and around the neckline.

The Maggie Cardigan should have approximately 5 cm of positive ease. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished cardigan measurements can be found on the cover. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is maintained. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A cardigan in size 100 cm will fit a chest circumference of 100 cm. Size S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and would in this case have a range of motion (positive ease) of 6 cm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

• 3.5 mm circular knitting needle, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm long
• 3 mm circular knitting needle, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm long
• 3 mm and 3.5 mm double-pointed needles (unless knitting with the Magic Loop method)
• 6 buttons

For sustainability reasons, these are NOT automatically included in the package.
