The model in the photo was dressed in "Cashmere Classic" in Niwa (Fb 725) knitted.

The Maggie Vest is worked from the top down. First, the back is worked with increases. Then, stitches are picked up at the top of the back for the shoulders, which are worked in rows with increases and decreases. The shoulders and back are joined under the armholes to form the body, which is worked in rows on circular needles. Ribbed cuffs are worked around the armholes. Finally, bands are worked at the front edges and neckline.

Sizes: XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL)

The Maggie Vest should have approximately 5 cm of positive ease. Sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) fit a chest circumference of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The finished vest measurements can be found on the title page. Note: These measurements are only valid if the gauge is maintained. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your chest circumference (or the widest part of your body) measures 90 cm, you should choose size S. A vest in size 100 cm will fit a 100 cm chest. Size S has a chest circumference of 96 cm and would in this case have a range of motion (positive ease) of 6 cm.

First knit a gauge swatch to determine the correct needle size for you.

Gauge swatch: 23 stitches x 32 rows in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm needles = 10 x 10 cm

Should you wish to knit in a larger size, you can order additional balls of yarn separately. You can then simply return the unused balls of yarn to us.

For this set you will need the following accessories:

3.5 mm circular knitting needle (60, 80 and/or 100 cm), 3 mm circular knitting needle (40, 60, 80 and/or 100 cm)
