The Manon Jacket is knitted in rows from the top down in a large seed stitch pattern. First, the back is worked, with short rows shaping the shoulders. Then, stitches are picked up to work the right and left fronts.

Once all the pieces are finished, stitches are picked up along the shoulders and the knitted piece is joined to continue knitting up to the armholes – increases are made for the front, back, and sleeves. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, and the body is knitted further down.

Next, stitches are picked up at the armholes and the sleeves are knitted in the round. Then, stitches are picked up at the neckline to work the collar in a 1x1 rib pattern. Finally, the edgings are created by picking up stitches in double knitting, and to finish, two decorative pockets are knitted and sewn on.

The knitting kit includes an alternative to the original yarn specified in the instructions.

The Manon Jacket has a regular fit and is designed with approximately 5-10 cm of extra room. This means that the garment's dimensions will be about 5-10 cm larger than your actual chest measurement.

Chest circumference: 80-85 / 85-90 / 90-95 / 95-100 / 100-110 / 110-120 / 120-130 cm

Gauge swatch: After washing and stretching:

20 stitches x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm in large seed stitch.

Bouclé yarn with needle size 3.5 mm.

44 sts x 60 rows = 10 x 10 cm in double knitting.

Bouclé yarn with needle size 2 mm.

Should you wish to knit in a larger size,
You can order additional balls of yarn separately.
You can simply send the unused balls of yarn back to us.
