Simple with a touch of sophistication: The Marsden Moor socks by designer Soraya García combine calm ribs with a delicate lace pattern inspired by pheasant feathers, adorning the shaft like a fine lace trim. Small bobbles add playful accents. The real highlight is the heel: increases in the middle of the leg and decreases at the sole create an elegant diamond shape in seed stitch, making every sock an eye-catcher. Worked from the cuff down to the toe, the rest of the sock is pleasantly relaxed in stockinette and ribbing. A wonderful project for anyone who has already knitted a few socks and is looking to try new techniques.

The knitting kit contains the original yarn specified in the pattern, Moorland Mohair by Erika Knight – natural sock yarn made of Bluefaced Leicester wool and mohair, completely free of synthetic fibers, with a fine sheen and slight fluff. The lace pattern is beautifully accentuated by the gentle shimmer.

You can adjust the length of the shaft and foot individually.
Gauge: 28 stitches x 48 rounds = 10 x 10 cm (using 2.0 mm needles) in stockinette stitch worked in the round, after washing and blocking.

How to find your size: Measure your foot at the widest point, usually at the ball of the foot. The socks are designed with about 2.5 cm of negative ease so they fit snugly and don't slip while walking.

One 100 g skein is sufficient for all sizes – so you can knit without worrying about leftovers.

For this set, you will need the following accessories:
Short circular needle (20 cm), double-pointed needles, or circular needle for Magic Loop, size 2.0 mm
For a stretchy cast-on, the pattern recommends a needle one size larger, i.e., 2.25 or 2.5 mm
Cable needle
Stitch markers
Needle for weaving in ends
