Maude Tee - SUNDAY & TYNN SILK MOHAIR - knitting set

The Maude Tee is knit in one piece from the top down. First, the collar is worked, then the yoke, and finally the body and sleeves. The collar is worked in the round so that it appears in stockinette stitch on both the right and wrong sides. The button bands of the shirt are worked with double knitting, so that they also appear in stockinette stitch on both the right and wrong sides. The neckline is created using short rows. The yoke itself is shaped with raglan increases.

Size guide

The Maude tea should allow for movement ( positive ease). The shirt should be approximately 10 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement (i.e., the shirt should be 10 cm larger than your own bust measurement). Sizes (36), 38, and 40 fit a bust measurement of (85-90), 90-95, and 95-100 cm, respectively. The finished shirt measurements are shown on the front of the pattern. Please note that these measurements are only valid if the gauge is maintained. Take your own measurements before you begin knitting to determine the size that fits you best. If your bust measurement (or the widest part of your body) is 90 cm, you should choose size 36. A size 36 shirt will have a bust measurement of 99 cm and would, in this case, have 9 cm of positive ease .
