This top is knitted seamlessly from the top down in one piece. First, the straps are cast on using Judy's Magic cast-on. The straps are then joined, first for the back and later for the front. The edges at the neckline and along the shoulders are worked in the bamboo stitch.
The model in the photo was knitted in "Karma Cotton" in peach (color 03_70261).
